One of the biggest political issues today is the issue of Housing Affordability, particularly in our largest city, Auckland. Auckland is one of the least affordable housing markets in the world. We hear about the issue on what feels like a daily basis, yet despite the Government tinkering around the edges average house prices are still increasing by close to 20% compared to this time last year.
ACT on Campus are taking to the streets in a counter-protest, occuring right now in St Heliers, to support property rights and to oppose the Environment Court’s injunction against the new development on Turua Street.
